Sufjan is an alum of Royal Court Theatre, Soho Theatre, and Maslaha writers labs, as well as the School of Cvntology. They wrote their first play “know who you are at any age” during the Royal Court’s Intro to Playwriting lab and later received an R&D at National Theatre Studio.Their prose and non-fiction writing has been published in WORMS and gal-Dem, and read at RichMix, Southbank Centre, and Goldsmiths CCA. Bile is currently working on their first novel. In 2026, Sufjan won the Groucho Club Writer’s Residency, in partnership with Write Club.
